The Counter Fundraiser – 12/10/2020

Hi all! Thank you for supporting our KMS students, teachers, staff and school by participating in past, present, and future fundraisers as your time and finances allow. Every bit helps!

We have an upcoming one day fundraising event with The Counter at Kahala Mall. This will take place on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 11:00AM – 9:00PM. If you show or mention the flyer below, the KMS PTO will receive 15% of sales.

We’ll be sure to send a reminder as the day of the event gets closer! In the meantime, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Kahala Mall Very Merry Event Passes

Good morning!

The KMS Music Department will be selling the Kahala Mall Very Merry Event passes this year for $5. Click this link to see what discounts are offered. The event will take place between Dec. 11 – 13, 2020.

If you are interested in purchasing, we have a limited amount of tickets for sale and we ask you to fill out your information in this Google form. This will allow us to reserve the tickets for you.

  1. Pickup dates and times are Tues., 11/24 and Wed., 11/25 from 2:15PM – 3:30PM
  2. Please enter through the back parking lot (entrance on 18th Ave.) and look for us standing by C building. Drive up and pick up!
  3. Bring exact change or a check made payable to “Kaimuki Middle School”.

Just a few updates:

The most recent Kona Ice Fundraiser netted us $20.20. Thank you to those families who participated. The next Kona Ice delivery will take place on Friday, Nov. 27th. If you live within 4 miles of Kaimuki Middle and would like to order some Kona Ice for the family, follow the instructions below. We receive 20% of sales.

  1. Go to https://kmspto.org/konaice and enter zip code. (As of this posting, it looks like their website is temporarily down.)
  2. Place your order ($15 minimum plus there is a $1 convenience fee) and click on Checkout
  3. Select “Delivery”, enter Delivery Address (including City and State) and click “Confirm Address” (Max Delivery Distance from KMS is 4 miles)
  4. Select “Schedule for another day”
  5. Select “Fri, Nov 27”
  6. Select “9:00 AM – Kaimuki Middle School”
  7. Click “Continue”
  8. Fill in required information and click on “Pay Now” to checkout with a credit card
  9. Receive email confirmation and wait for your order on Fri., Nov 27 from 9:00AM.

Also, the Square Barrels Fundraiser will end this Saturday! When you mention the “KMS Burger for Bucks Fundraiser”, for every burger purchased, Kaimuki Middle School will receive $1! The hours, menu, and location can be found here: www.squarebarrels.com

All proceeds raised go back to the school to support their efforts in educating the students and supplying needed resources to our school’s staff and faculty!

We have 2 active fundraisers right now: Kona Ice (11/13/2020) and Square Barrels (11/8/2020 – 11/21/2020).

Square Barrels Fundraiser

Hi all!

Prior to the pandemic, the KMS PTO was busy putting together the “Taste of Kaimuki” event that was to be held as a fundraiser/community building event. Unfortunately we weren’t able to hold the event, but we wanted to thank the teachers, staff, parents, students, and YOU for the time and effort involved in trying to make this happen. THANK YOU!!

We also wanted to acknowledge those vendors who were willing to help us out back in March and ask you to solicit these business (if possible) to thank them for their support and community involvement. #SaveHawaiisBusinesses

The KMS PTO has been fortunate enough to be offered a fundraising opportunity by one of the vendors! Square Barrels has kindly offered up a “Burgers for Bucks” fundraiser that will run for two weeks! Here are the details:

From Sunday, 11/8/2020 to Saturday, 11/21/2020, order any burger, mention “KMS Burgers for Bucks” fundraiser and for each burger sold the KMS PTO will receive $1.

Big City Diner Fundraiser – 10/19/2020

Hi again!

We have joined up with Big City Diner this month to help raise funds for our school! Big City Diner will be partnering up with the KMS PTO on Monday, Oct, 19th from 10:30AM – 7:30PM and 15% of all regular priced purchases will be donated back to the school! Purchases include dine-in, take-out, catering, and all beverages!
